DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRY PORCELAIN MUSICAL EGG This heirloom musical egg is reminiscent of the eggs crafted by Peter Carl Faberge' from 1885– 1917. Plays Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy from the Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite on an 18 note, key–wound musical movement. Hidden inside the egg is a hand painted pewter centerpiece of Clara holding her nutcracker. The egg is crafted of the lustrous,triple-fired porcelain decorated with details including raised relief, 22 karat gold accents, and 100 hand set faux jewels and Swarovski crystals. The base of the egg has an artwork panorama in the Russian Palekh Black–lacquer technique by master Natalia Zaitseva and depicts dancers at the Stahlbaum's Christmas Eve party.
